Join us for our Monthly Yin Yoga Workshop with Laura Nowell designed to generate deep release and relaxation.
With floor based postures held for up to 10 minutes, using props for support, Yin yoga works to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which activates the body’s natural capacity to restore itself.
This style of yoga requires a mindful approach where we focus on the internal experience of the poses, rather than outer form. When we cultivate this kind of presence, we tap into our somatic nervous system and develop a more subtle awareness of being.
The sessions integrate breathing techniques (Pranayama) and offers a meditative approach throughout.
All ages and abilities are welcome.
You will be in expert hands with Laura, having practised yoga for over a decade and teaching internationally for 6 years. She is also a yoga therapist, and somatic coach.
